Cyber Security; what’s your level?

A new era of cyber risk is upon us, one where phrases like “cyber pandemic” and “permacrisis” have arisen in response to pervasive and disruptive issues like ransomware, business email compromise, and cyber-enabled fraud.

We are delighted to be joined at this breakfast briefing by a panel of leading experts from a range of disciplines to share their views and experiences. We will hear advice about how cyber, technology and risk leaders can help cyber risk to emerge from its historic position as a cost centre and expense, to a vital enabler of safety, trust, growth and company performance. Our panel of experts will include:

  • Mark Hendry of Evelyn Partners, Partner and Head of Cyber Advisory
  • Eloise Morgan & Lynsey Bauer of Paragon Insurance brokers – specialists in cyber insurance and financial institutions
  • Richard Hall of Clyde & Co, a Legal Director specialising in the type of scrutiny businesses face as a result of security incidents and data breaches
  • Hiten Jotangia of Vanta, the security, compliance and trust management platform.

During the session we will explore topics such as:

  1. Cyber as an enabler of trust, safety, and performance
  2. Setting your level; exploring the ways in which you can achieve and demonstrate good cyber health.
  3. Aligning practices; certifications, standards, and regulations (ISO27k, NIST, PCI-DSS) NIS2, DORA, GDPR, SOC2, etc.
  4. Facing scrutiny, cyber teams becoming "front of house" and cyber storytelling.
