Experience

Ben has experience providing statutory audit and assurance services. His audit work typically includes reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, and acting as either component or group auditor where necessary.

Alongside his statutory audit work, Ben supports his clients in meeting their business objectives including achieving a strong governance framework and dealing with business change.

Prior to joining Evelyn Partners, Ben gained over 25 years of experience in KPMG’s private enterprise audit practice. This included 12 years leading and acting as the Responsible Individual on his audits.

Outside work, Ben is the governor of a large Further Education College and chairs their audit committee. In this voluntary role the board has overseen a successful merger and several large capital projects.
