Chris Farrington

With over 30 years’ experience, Chris has advised numerous distressed companies, working with lenders, owners, directors and creditors of troubled companies. Chris was recently appointed as Administrator of Lignia Wood Company Limited, a modified timber business based in Barry, South Wales, which was traded for almost three months in order to convert on existing Work in Progress and deliver a going concern sale of the business, achieving a much-enhanced financial outcome for the company’s creditors as well as saving the majority of employees’ jobs.

Chris was previously a Partner at Deloitte and has served as Administrator, Receiver or Liquidator to over 100 companies, from small OMBs to PLCs, and across almost all industries. He has also taken appointments as Trustee in Bankruptcy to more than 200 individual debtors, including contentious cases involving hidden assets and disputed creditor claims.

A Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Chris enjoys working with distressed companies, helping directors identify underlying issues, and envisioning and delivering a workable solution to the problems.
