How do you describe what you do?
I help individuals and charities to protect and grow their wealth. I create solutions to meet client's investment needs.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
The harder I work, the luckier I get.
How did you start off in your career?
I qualified as an engineer in college and was put straight out on a large Bridge building project. It was a eye opening experience of the real world shall we say.
What's your area of expertise?
Portfolio construction and investment management.
Where do you get your inspiration to embrace what's next?
I have always had a competitive drive and aspiration for growth. It's a cliche but I get very bored if I am not growing in various areas of life. Providing for my family and seeing kids develop into well rounded people is of course most important.
What's your favourite thing about your role?
Meeting interesting and super intelligent people from so many different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
What's next for you personally?
Its really all about the kids right now as they vary from 17 to 11 so supporting them in their endeavours is my focus
Where's your favourite place to meet with your clients?
The RDS is good where we sometimes bring clients to rugby matches. This is always a good day. It is nice meeting clients in their homes as they are generally more relaxed in that environment. Our new office on St. Stephen's Green is also great.
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
I love skiing but that is not very budget friendly. I love sea swimming and a little surfing but only in summer weather. I also love travelling.
