Matthew graduated from Leicester University with a degree in Economics. He has over 25 years financial services experience having started his career in the City with Schroders and then with RBC Brewin Dolphin in Leeds. Matthew joined Evelyn Partners in 2023 and heads up the Leeds Charity Investment Management Team as well as servicing portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, companies, pensions and trusts.

Notable client work and achievements

Matthew has guided a large number of the region’s charities through the investment markets over the past two decades.

Matthew is a volunteer coach in the junior section of Old Brodleians Rugby Union Football Club. Matthew is also coach at Halifax Amateur Boxing Club and holds the Level 1 England Boxing Coaching Qualification.
