My Wealth

The purpose of this guide is to provide an overview of the My Wealth tool in the Evelyn Partners client portal.

Accessing My Wealth

The My Wealth tool provides an overview of your net worth in one place, giving a clear picture of your overall financial position. You can access it via the Tools menu in the top navigation panel.

Tip: If you do not see this option on the landing page after logging in, please get in touch with your usual Evelyn Partners contact to discuss getting access to this functionality.

When you land on the page, you’ll see your total wealth summary at the top, which consists of your assets and pensions, minus any liabilities. Below this are two main sections - Assets & Liabilities and Income & Expenditure.

 

Note: If your partner is registered as well, you’ll see their assets, liabilities, income and expenditure displayed within these two sections.

Assets & Liabilities

The Assets & Liabilities section gives you a clear view of your overall financial position by bringing together your assets, pensions and any liabilities in one place. Adding this information helps you and your adviser build a more complete and accurate picture of your wealth and long-term goals. You can also see your total liabilities and allocation chart to understand how your wealth is distributed. If you want to add a new asset, you can do this by clicking on the plus icon of any asset group.

You can access the full list of each asset category by clicking directly on the asset group. On the overview screen, you’ll see the total value of the selected category and the percentage it represents of your overall wealth. This gives you a clear snapshot of how each area contributes to your financial position before reviewing individual records in more detail. You can edit or delete an list entry using the menu icon in the Actions column.

When adding an asset, you’ll be asked to provide details such as type, description and value. If your partner is registered with us, you’ll also see additional ownership options under the Owned by field.

Alongside Me and Jointly, you may also see My partner - this appears if you have permission to add assets owned entirely by your partner. Selecting Jointly allows you to set your ownership percentage.

If you can’t find the correct ownership option, or you’re unsure which asset type to choose, please contact your adviser for assistance.

Income & Expenditure

The Income & Expenditure tab allows you to view and manage your regular inflows and outgoings to help you track cashflow.

The dashboard shows your Total income and Total expenditure sections, each listing up to five of your most recent entries. To view the full list of records, select View full income list or View full expenditure list at the bottom of each section. This will take you to a detailed list of all your income or expenditure entries, where you can view, edit or delete existing records by selecting the menu icon in the Actions column.

You can add a new entry from both the dashboard and the Income or Expenditure list screens clicking + Add button or (+) button.

When adding a new entry, you’ll need to provide details such as the amount, frequency, and start or end dates. Marking an expense as Essential or Lifestyle helps you and your adviser better understand your spending patterns.
