What's next for you professionally?

I'm working towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner while continuing to grow my expertise and my business. My goal is simple: to help people feel confident about their money and supported at life's key stages.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

"You only get out what you put in"—true in rugby, just as true in financial planning. The best outcomes come from honest conversations, clear goals, and a solid game plan.

How did you start off in your career?

I began my financial planning career at an IFA in Jesmond following a 17-year professional rugby career. The transition allowed me to apply the same focus and commitment to helping clients achieve their financial objectives.

What's your area of expertise?

I specialise in advising high net worth individuals, particularly those in professional sports and entertainment, with a focus on strategic retirement planning and long-term wealth management.

What's your favourite thing about your role?

Building lasting relationships with clients—whether they’re retiring from sport, scaling a business, or just want their money to work smarter. I listen, plan, and hopefully deliver with a touch of North East charm.

What's next for you personally?

I’m currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status and embracing the opportunities at Evelyn Partners during an exciting period of growth and innovation.

When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?

Outside of work, I enjoy time with my wife Catherine and son Charlie, walking our two cocker spaniels, coaching rugby and enjoying the occasional glass of red wine!
