Continuing to work with business owners in the lead up to a transaction to ensure all opportunities are considered linked to their current and future objectives/views.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Jumping right into big decisions about personal finances after selling a business or inheriting money may not be the best option. The period after a transaction is complete is a good time to pause and reflect on both the past and the future.
What's your area of expertise?
I look after many large families with complex financial circumstances and needs. I provide bespoke and creative services that link in with their accountants/tax and legal advisers so that a formal and rounded approach is provided.
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
I have a terrible, debilitating, hereditary illness which leads me to follow Partick Thistle Football Club. I also am an extremely enthusiastic golfer who suffers from a marked lack of talent...
