How do you describe what you do?

We conduct first-line reviews of Financial Planning files to ensure they meet FCA COBS suitability rules, follow industry best practice, and align with Evelyn Partners' standards. We also provide guidance and support to the Front Office, when needed.

What's next for you professionally?

I’m focused on challenging myself, embracing new opportunities, and making a meaningful contribution to my team and the wider business. Since joining AQA, I have been actively broadening my experience and knowledge across different areas of advice.

How did you start off in your career?

I hold a BA (Hons) in Creative Writing. I started as a proofreader for a financial services firm. After combing through T&Cs and Key Features, I went from spotting stray full stops to learning about pensions. The rest, as they say, is history!

What's your favourite thing about your role?

One of my favourite aspects of the role is learning about our clients—their unique circumstances, goals, and journeys. I find it incredibly rewarding to see the many ways our business supports them through tailored advice and meaningful solutions.

When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?

As a working mum, finding spare time can be a challenge! However, I am a proud Assistant Coach for a local youth football club. It’s a rewarding role that allows me to support young players’ development and stay actively involved in my community.
