How do you describe what you do?
I manage my clients' portfolios to fit the varied objectives they will have because they are all different. But most importantly I strive to ensure they feel their money is in safe hands, and performs, so they can feel confident about their future.
What's next for you professionally?
We have evolved as a company and I am really excited to be able to convert the proposition we have developed to help the families I look after (and their future generations) and new clients look forward confidently, as they progress through life.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
When it comes to dealing with people imagine walking in their shoes and understand how they see the world. When you do that you are much better equipped to help them, and yourself, achieve the objectives at hand.
How did you start off in your career?
I had a family bereavement as a young adult which required me to be responsible for an unexpected amount of money. I had to take control of my financial education and became a client of this company. I was so impressed I ended up working here!
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
These days it would be spending quality time with my family whether it be dinner with my wife, taking my son to play football or listening to my daughter singing her favourite songs.
