How do you describe what you do?

A national brief focussed on enhancing the service for all clients and prospects of the firm. Working with our clients, financial planners and investment managers to deliver continuous improvement for our clients.

What's next for you professionally?

Being better! With 38 years' experience, I love that I am still learning every day and hopefully sharing that learning with colleagues and clients alike.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

People sometimes won't recall exactly what you said, and occasionally won't remember how you said it, but will almost always remember how you made them feel. Our business thrives on individual relationships where authentic engagement is key.

How did you start off in your career?

After education I came straight to a trainee position in financial services. My early experiences have given me an enthusiasm for and close interest in our graduate schemes which are incredibly energising to be involved with.

Where do you get your inspiration to embrace what's next?

My family: My wife works in oncology which teaches me a huge amount about both perspective and resilience. I also have 4 children who span the final years of education and early careers: Helping them navigate life's opportunities is a privilege.
