Professional Biography
Good financial decisions help us to take control of the one element we all want control over: our time.
How do you describe what you do?
My job is simple: I help individuals identify what matters most to them in life in the years ahead, what role money plays in that future and what decisions need to be made today and over the coming years to make that future a reality.
What's next for you professionally?
My goal is to continue to partner with new clients to achieve their objectives. I will shortly be taking my chartered level exams to further support me.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
My Dad always says: "just get on with it". It is hardly groundbreaking advice, but it is a great reminder that in life there will be highs and lows where motivation and focus can waver. The best solution: "just get on with it".
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
Tennis. Football. Running. Hiking. Cooking. Reading. Seeing friends and family. Travelling. My film camera. I am hoping to add cycling to that list. That pretty much sums up my life outside of work.
Why does my role as a wealth manager matter?
There are not many industries as ubiquitous as personal finance. It impacts us all. Bad financial decisions are costly - not just financially. Good financial decisions help us to take control of the one element we all want control over: our time.
