Luke Hunter
Professional Biography
Far too many charities settle for poor advice and underwhelming investment outcomes. I’m committed to changing that.
How do you describe what you do?
I support charities and other clients with tailored investment advice, making day-to-day portfolio decisions within an agreed strategy. As regional Head of Charities, I work to enhance our service and help more charities benefit from what we do.
What's next for you professionally?
Far too many charities settle for poor advice and underwhelming investment outcomes. I’m committed to changing that — building a future where charities have access to thoughtful, high-quality investment support that truly serves their mission.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Talent opens doors, hard work keeps them open — but kindness is what makes it all worthwhile.
Where do you get your inspiration to embrace what's next?
Early on in my career, I attended an event with a charity for the blind and saw first-hand the impact of the funds we manage. Real people benefiting from what I do is what motivates me the most. There is always more to do!
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
Ever since starring as Bugsy Malone aged 11, I’ve loved singing and acting. Today my audience is mostly my wife and (reluctant) kids. When they can tolerate no more, I can be found losing at board games or trying not to bowl wides in village cricket.
