Professional Biography
What tends to stick with me more is seeing a client grow in confidence in managing their finances, alongside me, over time.
How do you describe what you do?
I work with private clients and business owners to help them articulate and achieve their life goals. This is achieved by making both strategic and tactical financial changes today, and on an ongoing basis.
What's next for you professionally?
Spend more time with clients. I enjoy what I do, so more of the same please!
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Don't plan to start something. If it's a good idea, just start.
What's an experience with a client that's stuck with you?
There is usually a significant success in tax mitigation/structural optimisation achieved with a first client interaction. But what tends to stick with me more is seeing a client grow in confidence in managing their finances, alongside me, over time.
How did you start off in your career?
I actually had a visa all sorted to live in Canada for 2 years, when a good opportunity came up with another large wealth manager to learn about pensions and tax. The Poutine and Ice Hockey is still on hold...!
What qualifications and memberships do you have?
Chartered Financial Planner Fellow of the PFS MBA
