How do you describe what you do?
Support financial planners in providing high-quality advice to their clients, in areas such as retirement planning, estate planning and lifetime financial planning.
What's next for you professionally?
I hope to complete my CII Diploma in the next few months, and aspire to become a Chartered Financial Planner and begin advising my own clients.
What's an experience with a client that's stuck with you?
Supporting a financial planner to use cashflow modelling to demonstrate to a client that they could afford to take early retirement and maintain their lifestyle for the rest of their life.
How did you start off in your career?
I joined the Glasgow office as one of the first cohort of Financial Planning graduates in the business. I have really enjoyed the opportunity to work with a wide variety of financial planners, paraplanners and administrators.
What's your favourite thing about your role?
Meeting a huge variety of people from all walks of life and helping them to achieve their goals for the future.
