How do you describe what you do?

As Managing Partner, I lead the Bristol office and Financial Planning team. I have spent the last 20 years advising High and Ultra High Net Worth families and have in-depth expertise in advising entrepreneurs on pre and post-business exit planning.

What's next for you professionally?

To continue to deliver the best possible service to the families we act for by making sure all of their financial, legal and tax affairs are optimised. To grow Bristol into the most professional financial Planning team in the South West. 

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Planning early is the key to getting the outcome you want!

What's an experience with a client that's stuck with you?

 What resonates most is empowering clients to live the lives they want to. Every client who has thanked us for the additional time they were able to spend with family or pursuing their dreams as a result of our planning really makes the job worthwhile.

How did you start off in your career?

As a trainee financial planner at Chase de Vere Adviser Academy. Doing the job over the phone for a period right at the start really hones the skill of being a great communicator!

What's your area of expertise?

I specialise in working with entrepreneurs pre and post-exit on getting their finances optimised for this major life event and making the most of the proceeds. I've also worked with numerous lottery winners on managing their newfound wealth.

Where do you get your inspiration to embrace what's next?

Having control of your finances gives a real confidence and freedom to embrace what's next. Managed badly money can hold you back from enjoying the life you want. Managed right, it can be the thing that sets you free to pursue the life you want.
