How do you describe what you do?
Helping clients achieve their financial objectives within a risk level that they are comfortable with. Most of my clients are private individuals but I do also help trusts, companies and charities.
What's next for you professionally?
Expanding my knowledge by continuing with more professional qualifications and supporting junior colleagues to help develop their careers.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Always ask yourself what could go wrong with an investment.
How did you start off in your career?
I started my career with an online stockbroker in May 2000, months before the technology bubble burst. This early experience of witnessing some stocks lose over 95% of their value reinforced the importance of avoiding permanent capital loss.
What's next for you personally?
Training for my first half marathon.
