Professional Biography

I love fitting together investment puzzles to find the right solution for a client

How do you describe what you do?

I manage bespoke investment portfolios for charities, families, and private clients. My approach blends analytical rigour, long-term thinking, and tailored advice to help clients navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence.

What's next for you professionally?

I’m expanding my work with charities while continuing to develop research-led strategies for private clients. I contribute to investment research teams and aim to make finance more transparent, inclusive, and aligned with clients’ long-term goals.

How did you start off in your career?

I started at Evelyn in 2022 after leaving a PhD halfway through. It was a leap of faith, but I wanted a career with more direct client impact. Cutting my losses was tough, but it led to a role where I use my skills daily and keep growing.

What's your favourite thing about your role?

I love fitting together investment puzzles to find the right solution for a client. Also, the variety: no two days are the same, from meetings with clients, to portfolio analysis, to meeting C-suites of some of the biggest companies in the world.

What's next for you personally?

I’m fully renovating a tenement flat in Edinburgh - great bones, amazing light, and total chaos. It’s testing my resilience (and my DIY skills), but I’m clinging to the vision and hoping the dust settles before I do!

What qualifications and memberships do you have?

Chartered MCSI
