How do you describe what you do?
I help create and implement a robust financial roadmap, navigating the complexities of tax and adapting to evolving legislation. For many, that means achieving financial independence and growing and protecting family wealth.
What's next for you professionally?
I'd like to empower my own and younger generations to embrace and experience the positive impact of financial planning. I have a keen interest in supporting entrepreneurs and hope to help more individuals on this journey from start up to exit.
How did you start off in your career?
I started my career in personal banking, before moving into commercial banking and then into financial planning. I have developed a wide range of experience working with clients of all walks of life at different stages in their financial journey.
What's your favourite thing about your role?
I enjoy getting to know and understand clients on a personal level. Understanding an individual’s psyche, values and what brings them joy is a vitally important aspect of the role when helping clients make important financial decisions.
When you're not at work, what's your favourite thing to do?
Simple pleasures. I love to run and cycle, preferably in the sunshine! Exploring new places by foot or by wheels. This brings me a great sense of freedom and mental clarity. Spending time with my wife, family and friends over a coffee or beer.
