Yin is a licensed insolvency practitioner and qualified solicitor with over 20 years’ experience focussing on business restructuring and insolvency. She advises on a variety of restructuring and insolvency issues and has extensive experience in contentious insolvency cases.
Most noteworthy, is Yin’s ability to structure bespoke solutions for distressed companies including those with cross-border/international issues and assists lenders with non-insolvency advisory matters. She approaches assignments with an unequivocal commercial approach that enables her to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
She also specialises in solvent liquidations including group restructuring or corporate simplification projects.
Yin enjoys the variety of work insolvency brings together with the challenges of finding workable solutions for underperforming businesses. Through her experience, Yin has the knowledge needed to advise and guide stakeholders on the next steps to take and the options for turnaround and recovery, be it via a formal insolvency process or by restructuring outside a formal insolvency.
Yin is a Board member of the IPA and in April 2022 was elected as Deputy Vice President. Through this position, she hopes to continue mentoring the next generation and opening the doors to increasingly diverse talent.
Yin has a keen interest in football and sits on the Serious Disciplinary Panel and the Appeals Panel at the F.A.
