Evelyn Partners, the UK wealth management and professional services group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally Boyle as an independent Non-Executive Director. Sally replaces Elizabeth Chambers who leaves the Board having served as a Non-Executive Director since 2015.

Sally is an experienced Non-Executive Director, who currently serves on the Board of UK listed construction group Galliford Try plc, where she chairs the Remuneration Committee, and the Board of Cambridge University Press and Assessment. Between January 2017 and January 2023, she was also a member of the Board of the Royal Air Force, where she chaired the People and Diversity Committee.

After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in law, Sally began her career as a solicitor at Simmons and Simmons, spending several years in private practice as an employment law specialist before joining Goldman Sachs International as Head of Human Capital Management for the EMEA region. She was made a Partner of Goldman Sachs in 2010 and became the International Head of Human Capital Management until she retired in December 2021. She was on the Board of Goldman Sachs International and its Management Committee and co-chaired the EMEA Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Chris Grigg, Chair of Evelyn Partners, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Sally to Evelyn Partners. She brings a huge amount of commercial and financial services experience to the Board. The quality of our people, their skills and expertise are central to the success of our business, so Sally’s background in human capital management at a leading global financial services institution will prove particularly invaluable to Evelyn Partners as we continue to focus on attracting talent, developing people, and ensuring that Evelyn Partners has an inclusive and rewarding culture.

“I would also like to pay tribute to Libby Chambers for her many years of dedicated service and wise counsel as an independent Non-Executive Director. Libby first joined the Board of Smith & Williamson in 2015 and, as such, helped oversee the landmark merger with Tilney to create Evelyn Partners. Libby leaves the Board with our gratitude for the huge contribution she has made and our very best wishes for the future.”
