Richard Stones joins Tilney Bestinvest as Financial Planning Director

Investment and financial planning firm Tilney Bestinvest has appointed Richard Stones as Financial Planning Director to cover a number of locations across the M4 corridor. He will report into Richard Dawes, Managing Director, Financial Planning.

Richard has twenty years’ experience in the financial services industry and is a Chartered Financial Planner. He joins Tilney Bestinvest from Towry where he advised high net worth individuals. Previously, Richard was an Independent Financial Adviser at Origen where he provided advice to corporate clients and private individuals. Richard is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, the highest qualification awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute, and is an Affiliate member of The Society of Trust and Estate Planners (STEP).

At Tilney Bestinvest, Richard will head up the firm’s established financial planning team in the South West and Wales. His role will involve building the company’s presence in these regions and continue to develop Tilney Bestinvest’s strong ties with professional firms.
