Tilney Bestinvest, a leading investment and financial planning firm, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of The Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition’s private view for the sixth consecutive year. The event for invited guests takes place in London’s prestigious Mall Galleries on Tuesday 28 June, with the exhibition continuing until Saturday 2nd July.

The Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition showcases over 150 works of art in all mediums by established and exciting new artists from around the world, each competing for a coveted competition prize of £10,000. There will also be pieces from guest artists from Sculptor, Nick Mackman; Illustrator, Catherine Rayner and Wildlife Photographer, Andy Skillen, which will also be on display alongside stunning original works by renowned artist David Shepherd CBE.

All exhibited artwork will be available for purchase, with profits from the sales supporting endangered wildlife through the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation which funds a range of innovative, vital and far reaching projects throughout Africa and Asia. One such project is fighting wildlife crime in Africa, including ivory poachers, through the funding of anti-poaching teams and undercover investigations into criminal networks

Richard Brown, Business Development Director at Tilney Bestinvest commented:

“The protection of endangered wildlife is an incredibly worthwhile cause and the money raised through the sale of artwork at The Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition contributes toward this. We believe passionately about putting something back into society and the environment, so we are pleased to show our support towards this worthwhile cause and the future of the world’s animals.”
