Tilney, the leading investment and financial planning firm, celebrates it’s first anniversary as the Law Society of Scotland’s expert partner offering investment management and financial advice for solicitors’ clients.

The award-winning financial services company offers a range of services including financial planning, investment and wealth management and a managed portfolio service. Over the past year, Tilney has provided expertise on investment and financial planning to support solicitors whose clients are seeking additional financial advice, a service which will continue this year. There have also been additional workshops for the Scottish Young Lawyers Association on financial awareness.

The partnership has helped to provide resources for solicitors looking after the financial affairs of clients and trustees through the Society’s website, seminars and the Journal Magazine. One of the focuses over the past year has been to aid the Society in the support of local and high street businesses. This has been done by delivering presentations on recent changes to legislation, and rolling it out throughout Scotland which has so far included visits to Oban and Greenock.

Paul Frame, Managing Director and Head of Scotland at Tilney, said: “We are delighted to have reached this milestone in our partnership with the Law Society of Scotland, the first of many I am sure. Tilney has long had a history of working with the Scottish legal community, helping to strengthen and maintain solicitor and client relationships over the generations. We aim to continue our support of the Law Society and its membership by offering additional expert resources on the investment and financial planning matters that will benefit solicitors’ clients.”

More information about Tilney and its services is available on the Law Society’s website.
