Tilney for Intermediaries, the discretionary investment manager for intermediaries, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Alexander as Business Development Director. John will be based in the firm’s Liverpool office, reporting into Head of Tilney for Intermediaries, Miles Robinson.

John joins Tilney for Intermediaries from Momentum Global Investment Management, where he was Business Development Manager since 2013. John began his career as a Private Banking Manager with RBS, before moving into intermediary investment sales with Brewin Dolphin in 2001. He has held roles at AIG Life and spent eight years at Miton Group Plc (formerly Midas Capital Partners), where he was Head of Sales for Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

At Tilney for Intermediaries, John will be responsible for building relationships with key intermediary clients, both existing and new, primarily in the North West. He will also be closely involved in the continuing development of services in this key area of the firm’s business.
