Leading wealth management and professional services group Tilney Smith & Williamson is continuing to recruit new talent during the COVID-19 crisis. The latest addition is Henk Van De Beek who joins the Nottingham team as a financial planner for Tilney Financial Planning Ltd.

Henk joins Mattioli Woods where he spent over three and a half years as a Wealth Management Consultant. Prior to this he held roles at both UB Financial and Bankfield IFA.

Prior to their merger in September 2020, both Tilney and Smith & Williamson successfully migrated to a remote working model ahead of the first lockdown in mid-March. Teams are currently working from home, with investment managers’ and financial planners having full access to group systems through secure technology.

Craig Richards, director at Tilney Financial Planning, commented: “Henk has joined at a very exciting time for the business as we come together with Smith & Williamson to offer an unrivalled proposition spanning both wealth management and professional services to our clients. Despite all the challenges the last year has brought, we are very pleased to have been able to hire dynamic new talent to our team. As we come out of the pandemic, financial advice is going to play an extremely important role for our current and future clients and I am delighted to have Henk on board.”
