Tilney Smith & Williamson, the leading wealth management and professional services group, has agreed terms for a new office in Cardiff in a sign of the firm’s commitment to continue developing its client base in Wales.
The group’s new office at Brunel House in Fitzalan Road is situated a stone’s throw from Queen Street Station and the city’s shopping district. Brunel House replaces a previous office in the Welsh capital where the lease ended in the midst of last year’s lockdowns and ensures that Tilney Smith & Williamson will maintain a physical presence in Cardiff. The new office provides meeting rooms for clients and collaboration space for staff who will spend part of their time working from home and out meeting clients across Wales.
Tilney Smith & Williamson’s team in Cardiff supports clients from across Wales with personal financial planning services. The team has a particular expertise of working with entrepreneurs, SMEs and owner-managed businesses and focuses on providing estate, legacy and succession planning advice and high-quality retirement planning services. Within the team there are specialists advising university professionals and a Pensions on Divorce expert. All of Tilney Smith & Williamson’s financial planners in Cardiff hold the coveted Chartered Financial Planner status.
Niraj Vyas, Head of Tilney Smith & Williamson’s Cardiff office commented: “When the lease expired on our previous Cardiff office while our people were working from home during last year’s lockdown we were clear that we wanted to find a new space in the city to ensure we could continue to serve our clients locally in a convenient location. There have been considerable advances in technology in recent years allowing more meetings to be conducted remotely, but many of our clients have told us again and again that they value the ability to be able to meet with our team face-to-face. Our new office also offers plenty of space for our team to collaborate when they aren’t out meeting our clients across Wales.
“We are continuing to see considerable growth for our services from clients in Wales and our new Cardiff office provides an ideal base for us to meet that demand. Opening the new office at Brunel House signals our commitment to invest in Wales while also embracing smart forms of working.”
