Leading UK financial planning and investment management group Tilney is pleased to announce that it has opened a new office at Imperial House, 4-10 Donegall Square East, Belfast. Imperial House is one of the city’s most prestigious office developments, sitting at the intersection of its commercial and business districts and overlooks the iconic Belfast City Hall buildings.
The new office has been opened to meet the needs of Tilney’s rapidly growing client base in Northern Ireland and to accommodate the firm’s recruitment plans. Currently Tilney has 10 staff in Northern Ireland, including five financial planning experts who between them have around 100 years' combined experience. The team also includes the recruitment of two new members of staff joining in the client delivery and para-planning teams, with plans to further expand the financial planning team in the New Year.
Across the UK Tilney looks after over £24 billion of assets for private investors, families and charities, helping them with issues such as preparing for retirement, investing tax efficiently, passing wealth on to their families and managing their investment portfolios. Tilney was recently awarded the coveted title of Wealth Manger of the Year by the Financial Times and Investors Chronicle.
Commenting on the new office, Graeme Creevy, managing partner for Tilney Financial Planning in Belfast, said:
“The opening of this new office is a vote of confidence in Northern Ireland and recognition of the growth of private wealth in the province, which is now estimated to have over 12,500 millionaires. We think the opportunities in Northern Ireland are excellent and have set in place ambitious plans to grow our presence further. With constant changes to the tax regime and pension rules and currently challenging investment markets, there is an increasing need to provide private clients and their families with a joined up approach to managing their financial affairs. The Tilney approach is to combine the dual expertise of Financial Planning and Investment Management, to deliver a very holistic and personalised wealth management service that ultimately helps bring peace of mind to our clients.”
