Step 1 - Online application & assessments

  • Complete our online application, including your personal details and background (this should take no more than 20 minutes).
  • Our recruitment team will review your application. If you're invited to move forward, the next stage includes an online questionnaire and two tests.
  • The questionnaire helps us to get to know you and the environment you thrive in — you will receive a personalised insight report when you complete it. The tests will cover your numerical and verbal reasoning skills.

Step 2 - Video interview

  • This is a one-way video interview where you record and upload your answers to four behaviour-based questions. This should take no more than 40 minutes.
  • You will have two attempts to answer each question.
  • You will receive feedback within 15 working days.

Step 3 - Virtual assessment centre

  • We’ll do our best to ensure you have the information and support you need to set you up for success. You’ll receive an email with all the necessary information, which can be followed up with a call to answer any questions you may have. We can cover everything from setting up your IT to interview prep.
  • This is spread over two days, which previous candidates have appreciated. You can expect a warm welcome because we know you’ll perform at your best when you feel most comfortable.
  • In most cases, you’ll have a final decision within 48 hours. This will include a two-way feedback call with your recruiter. We’ll share detailed feedback on your performance over the two days and will seek to get your honest feedback on your experience with us.
  • For all roles:
    • Day 1 consists of a written case study, followed by an informal Q&A session with trainees.
    • Day 2 includes an individual interview with two senior members of the team you have applied to.
I joined the firm as an apprentice back in 2000 to begin my accountancy career. A lot has changed during those last 20+ years within the world, with the firm and in my personal life! Why would I recommend choosing Evelyn Partners to start your career? I can honestly say that the firm as it is today is truly an exciting place to work. I love our approach to inclusivity and the supportive environment to be your true self. You spend a large proportion of your adult life working and so it’s important to me that I work with awesome people, inspiring entrepreneurial clients and am offered innovative development opportunities to help me to continue to grow as my career progresses.
