Experience
Hugo started his financial services career as a Forensic Investigator for PwC before joining WestLB and Panmure Gordon as an investment manager. Hugo joined Smith & Williamson in 2002 rising to become Head of London. He joined the Board of Smith & Williamson Investment Management in December 2016 and chaired the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee. Now as a Regional Managing Director and Head of London at Evelyn Partners Investment Management, Hugo is a member of the Financial Services Executive Committee.
Alongside his managerial responsibilities, he sits within a team of seven whose core business is the management of investment portfolios for a range of private clients, companies, pension funds, trusts and charities.
As Head of London Hugo overseas £30bn of the firm’s assets.
