Sunil Parmar
Business tax
Sunil leads to Indirect Tax team at Evelyn and has significant experience of advising clients across all sectors in relation to Indirect Tax matters particularly UK and EU VAT. Sunil has particular experience in the Financial Services and Fintech / Insurtech sectors.
Sunil joined Evelyn Partners in early 2018 after previously working for 3 of the Big 4 accountancy firms and also managing the global VAT affairs of a FTSE 100 banking group.
Dr. Michelle He
Dr.Michelle He has deep experience in credit analytics, driving complex banking transformation processes, and advising fast-growing global Fintech firms. She has a PhD in AI and Machine Learning and has worked with some of the largest financial firms in the world, while at EY, Oliver Wyman and OCBC Bank. She is the COO and Co-Founder of Abound and Render, London-based credit technology companies that use AI and Open Banking to provide more accurate and affordable loans.
Ian Sutherland
Ian joined Tide in February 2018. Ian is a Big 4 trained chartered accountant and has 18 years professional experience, including a decade in VC-backed mass market technology businesses. Most recently, Ian was CFO at Wonderbly and has also worked with a number of B2B SaaS platforms including Pusher and Digital Shadows. Today, alongside his main role as CFO, Ian is responsible for driving Tide's journey towards Net Zero.
Tim Levene
Tim Levene is CEO of the UK’s only publicly listed, fintech-focused investment company Augmentum Fintech. After launching the first iteration of the fund in 2010 with the backing of RIT and Lord Rothschild, Tim and Co-Founder Richard Matthews launched Augmentum Fintech plc on the main market of the London Stock Exchange in 2018.
Tim has sat and currently sits on multiple fintech boards including Interactive Investor, Tide, Zopa, Farewill, iwoca and Monese and is highly active in cross-industry initiatives working to boost the UK fintech sector, including the UK FinTech Strategy Group.
An experienced entrepreneur, Tim co-founded juice bar business Crussh and was a founding employee of Flutter.com, the latter of which became one of the highest profile digital businesses in the UK after it merged with Betfair.com in 2001. In 2022, Tim was elected in the City of London as an Alderman in the Ward of Bridge.
